A little bit about me

I studied textiles at school and even passed my GCSE.... Some may say I was good; me I think it was just pure luck!

The desire to rekindle my passion for sewing had lingered for quite some time. However, truth be told, I never found the time (or the motivation) to delve into it, always opting for something else that seemed more appealing. It was a friend, skilled in crafting her own clothes, who motivated me to give it another shot.

 

So, for Christmas in 2019 I bought myself a sewing machine, nothing fancy just something that does all the basics I’d need and didn’t cost the earth.

Then COVID hit, and the world changed dramatically and so did everyone’s lives. Being locked down with my then, 18 year old son, and husband which to be fair on them wasn’t as bad as it sounds gave me the opportunity to put my old skills to the test.
